Accessibility

Esha should work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, large text or reduced motion. Here is what we check today, what we have not checked yet, and how to tell us about a problem.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We have not had an independent audit, so we do not claim full conformance.

What we check

  • Automated accessibility checks (axe) on this website's home page and key product pages, and in the Esha web app on sign-in, home, forecast and the legal pages.
  • Screen reader names for buttons on the main app screens outside chat, checked automatically.
  • Large text on those screens: text can grow to 200 percent of its normal size without being cut off.

Known gaps

  • We have not yet tested the phone apps by hand with VoiceOver (iPhone) or TalkBack (Android). That test is planned before the apps reach the stores.
  • Some chat screens still limit how large text can grow.
  • Chart diagrams may not be fully described to screen readers yet.
  • Automated checks find only some problems, and Esha is in English only for now.

Tell us about a problem

Email support@askesha.com with the page or screen, your device and any assistive technology you use. We read every message and will reply to tell you what we will fix.
