Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for paid subscriptions to Esha (the "Service"), operated by Phanidhar Rao Madduri (sole proprietor, trading as "Esha") ("we", "us"), 5-122, Penuguduru, Kakinada Rural, Andhra Pradesh 533016, India. By starting a free trial or a paid plan you agree to this policy together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Free trial
- New users get a 7-day free trial with up to 5 guidance questions per day. Your birth chart and daily insights remain available beyond chat.
- To start a subscription that includes the trial, your card or UPI must register a recurring payment instruction (an e-mandate) up front, as required by your bank and the Reserve Bank of India. No money is charged during the trial.
- We tell you clearly, before you confirm, that the trial converts to a paid plan and when the first charge will occur (at the end of day 7 unless you cancel first). You can cancel at any point during the trial and you will not be charged.
2. Plans, prices and auto-renewal

- All prices are in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
- Paid plans renew automatically at the price and interval above until you cancel. Your bank sends you a pre-debit notification at least 24 hours before each charge; you may decline an individual upcoming debit through your bank before it runs.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your full card details.
3. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, and cancelling is as simple as subscribing:
- In the app: Profile → Manage subscription → Cancel, or
- Email support@askesha.com from your registered email address, or
- Withdraw the e-mandate with your bank (this also stops future debits).
Cancellation stops all future charges. Your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account returns to the free experience (chart and daily insights stay available).
4. Refunds
- Because the 7-day free trial lets you evaluate Esha at no cost, a billing period that has already been charged is generally non-refundable, and we do not refund partial/unused time after a renewal. Cancelling prevents the next charge.
- We will refund promptly where a charge was clearly erroneous — for example a duplicate charge, a charge after a valid cancellation, or a charge for a period in which the Service was materially unavailable due to our fault.
- Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–7 business days (subject to your bank).
- To request a refund, email support@askesha.com with your registered email and the charge date/amount. We acknowledge refund requests within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
5. Failed payments
If a renewal charge fails, your bank may retry per its rules. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription pauses and your account returns to the free experience until you resubscribe.
