What Esha does when a message suggests someone is at risk

Esha is an AI, not a human. It is a reflection tool, not a crisis service. This is how it is built to respond:

  1. Every chat message is checked, on every plan, free or paid. Automated checks look for signs of suicide or self-harm in what you write.
  2. Esha stops the astrology. When a check is triggered, Esha does not answer from your chart. It shows a short safety message instead.
  3. You see helplines straight away. The message lists the helplines above and asks you to contact emergency services if anyone is in immediate danger. It is worded for you or for someone you are worried about.
  4. We count, we do not read. We record that the safety message was shown so we can check how often it happens. The record holds no readable message text.

What Esha cannot do

  • Automated checks can miss a message, or show the safety message when it was not needed.
  • No person watches chats as they happen, and Esha does not contact anyone on your behalf.
  • Esha is not a doctor, counsellor or emergency service.

Who Esha is for

Esha is for adults 18 and over. AI chat may not be suitable for some minors.
