FORMAT PREVIEW · NOT CURRENT CALENDAR DATA
A sample of Esha Weekly
One short email for the week ahead: a computed almanac, useful time windows, and one cited explanation. No predictions, remedies, fear, or zodiac forecasts.
SECTION 01
The week at a glance
A live issue will compute the next week from Esha's calendar engine. This sample shows the structure without publishing invented dates or values.
| Included | How it is shown |
|---|---|
| Day and local sunrise | The day's tithi and nakshatra |
| Calendar transitions | When a tithi or nakshatra changes |
| Festival notes | Upcoming observances, with method links |
SECTION 02
Useful windows, when available
Only supported muhurta classes are eligible: marriage, travel, and business start. A real issue will show computed windows and link to the full method. If a class has no supported window, the email says so.
SECTION 03 · EXPLAINER EXAMPLE
Why sunrise depends on your city
Sunrise is a local horizon event. Longitude, latitude, date, and the astronomical model all affect the time, so Esha computes city-specific sunrise rather than copying a single national value. Calendar windows derived from sunrise use that same local result.
Method note: astronomical positions use Lahiri sidereal settings; local horizon calculations are described in Esha's published methodology.
