I entered my birth time wrong — how do I fix it?

Edit your birth profile in the app (Profile → your chart → Edit details) with the corrected time, and Esha recomputes your whole chart immediately. This is free and instant — you don't need to contact us.

Can I get a refund?

Subscriptions: a billing period you've already been charged for is generally non-refundable — cancelling stops your next charge, and we refund promptly for clearly erroneous charges (like a duplicate charge, or a charge after a valid cancellation). One-time reports (Complete Life Reading, Compatibility Report): a full refund within 7 days if you haven't opened the report yet; after opening, only for erroneous or duplicate charges. Email support@askesha.com with your registered email and the charge date/amount — approved refunds return to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. How do I cancel my subscription?

In the app: Profile → Manage subscription → Cancel. Cancelling stops all future charges right away, but your Pro access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for — then your account returns to the free experience. You can also cancel by emailing support@askesha.com or by withdrawing the e-mandate with your bank.

My payment failed but money was deducted — what happened?

This is usually a temporary hold rather than a completed charge. If it doesn't actually go through on our end, Razorpay auto-reverses it to your account within 5–7 business days — check with your bank if it hasn't cleared by then. If you still see a genuine duplicate or erroneous charge after that window, email support@askesha.com with the date and amount.

How do I delete my account or my data?

In the app: Settings → Delete account. This is irreversible — everything tied to your account (profiles, chat history, streaks) is removed in one transaction. We keep only what's strictly necessary afterward: aggregated cost-accounting totals, fraud-prevention signals, and backup snapshots that roll off naturally, per our Privacy Policy. You can also delete a single birth profile instead of the whole account, or use askesha.com/delete-account.

Can I export my data?

Yes — use the in-app data-export control, or email support@askesha.com. We return a JSON file with your account, every birth profile, every chat message, your streak, and an export timestamp, and it arrives immediately.

Is my birth data safe?

Yes. It's encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and sent over TLS in transit. Esha runs no ads and uses no third-party tracking-based analytics SDK — your data is never sold and never shared with anyone for advertising purposes.

How accurate is this?

The calculation layer is astronomy-grade: your chart is computed from NASA/JPL ephemeris data and checked against independent reference implementations to sub-arcsecond precision. The interpretation layer follows cited classical Vedic texts. In short — Esha computes your chart with observatory-grade astronomical data, reads it strictly through cited classical texts, and tells you tendencies, never guaranteed events.

The app told me something scary — what should I do?

Esha is built to never issue doom statements — every reply is screened against claiming a fixed date for marriage, childbirth, death, or disease. If something still felt frightening, that's a bug we want to know about; email support@askesha.com with what happened. If you're in crisis, the in-app crisis response lists helplines (including India Tele MANAS, 14416) — please contact a licensed professional or local emergency services if you're in immediate danger.

What won't Esha answer?

Esha refuses questions Indian law prohibits, and never issues doom statements. If you have a specific concern about a reply you received, email support@askesha.com.

Can I get a reading for someone else — a partner, a child?

Yes — add a separate profile for them under Profiles in the app; each profile gets its own chart. Please only enter another person's birth details with their permission.
