Mercury in Sagittarius: Themes, Strengths, and What It Tends to Mean

Mercury is a conditional benefic: helpful on its own or with supportive planetary company, and especially impressionable in association with other planets. A practitioner checks Mercury’s companions as well as Jupiter’s condition before interpreting this placement.

Keep the principle and the example together

One useful reflection is to pair a broad claim with a specific example. If you say a lesson matters, explain what a student can do differently after understanding it. If you revise your principle after seeing an exception, that is thoughtful learning rather than a failure of conviction.
