Moon's nature, and where direction helps it
Classically the Moon's benefic/malefic status is not fixed: waxing (śukla pakṣa) it counts as a benefic, waning as comparatively malefic — the one graha whose nature depends on its phase. And one layer no Aries page can settle: dig bala (BPHS Ch. 27) gives Moon full directional strength in the 4th house — the nadir, the northern angle — so the same Moon-in-Aries reads differently by the house it lands in, a fact of birth time, not of Aries.
